TRORA Announces Successful Completion of the 2024 Thunder on the River

Three Rivers Outboard Racing Association is thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 2024 Thunder on the River event! This year's race was an exhilarating display of speed, skill, and sportsmanship, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support from our sponsors and the local community.

First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau. Their unwavering support and commitment were instrumental in bringing this event to life. From logistical support to promotional efforts, the Bureau played a crucial role in ensuring the success of Thunder on the River. We would like to make a special thank you to Kirstie Mack for her work to make us feel so welcome! We also want to thank long-time Defiance resident Bill Duerk for his tireless efforts to coordinate the event, to help connect logistics and championing the event and sport! The involvement of Kirstie and Bill truly exemplifies the spirit of community and teamwork that makes Thunder on the River such a special occasion.

A Stunning Waterfront Venue

The location of the event, at the beautiful confluence of the Auglaize and Maumee Rivers, provided a breathtaking backdrop for the races. The scenic waterfront, with its picturesque views and vibrant atmosphere, created the perfect setting for both racers and spectators.
