The 2008 TRORA Fall Banquet was a great success! This year's banquet was hosted by Jon & Melanie Brewster at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant in North Canton, OH. Thank You Jon and Melanie for hosting the banquet as we all know it can be tough putting everything together and making sure everything goes as planned throughout the evening. Many club members from all parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan made the trip to North Canton. I would like to thank everyone, past and present members, for attending the banquet! Also, thanks goes out to all those who helped make the banquet a special event; Christine Brewster for the Race Recap Slide Show, Jerry & Alexie Brewster for the Award Presentation Slide Show and Dana Holt for taking care of the Awards.
As always, the Fall Banquet is a time for the club's racers, crew and members to reflect on a season of racing and comradery. The evening started off with the Race Recap Slide Show. Christine Brewster did an excellent job over the summer capturing photos of everyone at the races both on the water and in the pits. Truly a treat being able to see the pictures and reflect back on the season. Next, Joe Silvestri gave a recap of the 2008 TRORA races . Each race was successful, each one in its own right. Joe then passed the microphone over to Dana Holt who awarded our High Point Winners.

Once again, Congratulations to all those winners, you certainly earned it! Now, that the award ceremony was completed, Jon Brewster finished the evening by conducting the raffle. There were several nice gifts available and it appeared that everyone went home with some sort of gift. I hope you were able to get the item you wanted. I'll have to wait until next year to get the tool box.
This marked the end of another successful TRORA Fall Banquet. However, with the night was still young as many members stuck around and proceeded out of the banquet room into the social room for more stories and good times. Thanks again to everyone who came to the banquet, and who helped out.
